Lectures and seminars, professional testimonials, author talks, film screenings, and museum visits. A rich educational program designed to explore fashion as a cultural phenomenon at the intersection of literature, visual arts, digital media, and visual culture. The objective is to understand how fashion produces and transmits imagery, values, and forms of subjectivity, contributing to the definition of individual and collective identities in the contemporary era.

International Summer Schools in English

The International Relations Office has announced the opportunity to participate in the following international summer schools conducted in English, for which students may apply for funding for short-term mobility and the recognition of additional CFU credits for their degree program.

Université de Lorraine’s international summer program dedicated to art, digital technologies, and inclusion, with a focus on museum accessibility and social innovation.

Working in teams, students design an inclusive physical game for use in museums, focusing on:

  • Collaborative design and development of inclusive concepts
  • Use of 3D printing and scanning, laser cutting, augmented and virtual reality
  • Creation of a working prototype and project presentation

The program combines workshop activities and cultural experiences in the Lorraine region.

International summer programme dedicated to design, digital communication and AI-assisted creativity, with a practical, industry-focused approach.

Students develop a real-world project commissioned by a local company, working on:

  • Creating a complete brand identity (packaging and visual identity)
  • Development of a digital communication and social media strategy
  • Use of AI for content creation and production
  • Production of a physical prototype and professional presentation of the project

The programme combines academic lectures with cultural activities in the city of Santander. Key features:

The study trip to Greece from 22 to 27 May 2026 aims to offer students a hands-on educational experience through visits to sites of particular historical, archaeological, artistic, religious and literary significance, spanning from the Classical period to the Middle Ages. The initiative enables students to deepen their historical, political and cultural knowledge and skills, fostering an understanding of the shared experience of the Mediterranean world.

Historical Landscapes of Emilia: Veleia Romana, Parma and Torrechiara (31 March–2 April 2026)

The study trip to Veleia and Parma from 31 March to 2 April 2026 is designed to provide first-hand experience of sites of particular historical, archaeological, architectural and artistic significance, spanning from the Roman era to the Renaissance. The itinerary includes a visit to the Roman archaeological site of Veleia, known as the ‘Pompeii of the North’, and to the city of Parma, which, from the Roman Imperial period, became the capital of the Duchy of Farnese in the 16th century. The initiative enables students to carry out observation and analysis in the field, integrating theoretical learning with direct experience of the sites.
